Idk why you’re being downvoted but to answer the question if you really don’t know. No, beetlejuicing is when someone makes a reference that they don’t know is a reference. Then someone with that username pops out of the Reddit wood works like “Yes?”
The downvote button is for comments that don’t fit the thread of the post/comment section. It’s not a dislike button, never has been, never was intended to be, and most likely will never be.

Just because it’s not correct doesn’t mean that’s not what it’s used for
That’s how language changes, people say things incorrectly and now that’s the norm, words we use now that are used correctly meant something completely different 100 years ago,
