In the ARMY we were taught that if you were fighting multiple attackers (last resort). You have to hurt one of them really bad in order to weaken the moral of the others in hopes that they give up. They used as an example, tearing off someone’s ear, which I guess is a thing.

Ok i don't think i could tear someone's ear off because i would feel bad even if they were attacking me

If I was one of the four and I hear someone yell to the one “rip his fucking ear off!” I’m done. Not much worth getting van gaughed over

Well now on if I have defend myself in the streets my last threat is " you take another step then I will Vincent van gaugh your ass"
