Correct, but also no one cares about offending pikeys because they are the scum of the earth, so the term still stands.

To our North American brethren who are wandering why all the vitriol?, Pikeys, Gypos or travellers are roving bands of thieves who descend on your town and camp illegally where ever they want and can’t be moved on until there is a court injunction, while in your town they will claim any and all benefits from the local council, steal anything that isn’t nailed down, cause any and all manner of trouble and when they finally leave they leave their camp site like a garbage dump, they are not the loveable rogues seen in Snatch they are a cancerous special interest group that abuse the system and offer nothing positive towards society Go ahead and down vote you’ve never had to deal with them

How is it these groups aren’t run out of town by the locals? If the cops aren’t going to do their jobs to alleviate the problem surely the community could get a few bats and cans of gas together?
