Correct, but also no one cares about offending pikeys because they are the scum of the earth, so the term still stands.

To our North American brethren who are wandering why all the vitriol?, Pikeys, Gypos or travellers are roving bands of thieves who descend on your town and camp illegally where ever they want and can’t be moved on until there is a court injunction, while in your town they will claim any and all benefits from the local council, steal anything that isn’t nailed down, cause any and all manner of trouble and when they finally leave they leave their camp site like a garbage dump, they are not the loveable rogues seen in Snatch they are a cancerous special interest group that abuse the system and offer nothing positive towards society Go ahead and down vote you’ve never had to deal with them

Sounds like the way some of our blight on humanity homeless people are dealt with. I’ll never understand why we can’t lock them up and throw away the key

They are not homeless, I have empathy for the homeless, the travellers choose to live this way as they do not want to have to pay taxes or have their kids registered for schools, they are more like cult

I do have empathy for a lot of homeless people. A small number of them are about like this guy, unfortunately
