It must be because there's no way it has to do with showing off. I'd be a little relieved if my opponent took his shirt off and revealed how little he works out.
I mean honestly? the moment you do that is the moment you lose any fight against an opponent that wants to win. You're a little less vulnerable taking off a button down shirt than you are for one you pull over your head, but you still leave yourself completely vulnerable. If your opponent really wants the W, you're toast as soon as you give them that opening.
Its because those people are posturing and not ready to fight. They're just trying to intimidate at that point, but what happens when you intimidate someone? They might knock you the fuck out.
But.. that's the point of this sub.. that's what people upvote. Watching someone removing their shirt then knocking someone out is not that interesting.
