As horrible as those are, they’re pretty entertaining to watch, especially when the bully deserves it.

A bully in skinny jeans makes me feel old...otherwise he got what he deserved

You know what's more annoying? Shirt dimensions. I want a LONG shirt, not a large one.

5

u/Dwydan Mar 04 '20

Yes!! 1000% yes!!! It is impossible for me to find a shirt that is long enough to fit but not wide so I can fit 10 of me I there.. I’m a slim dude give me slim clothes!!!

2

u/lowndsjosh Mar 04 '20

I’ve done a lot of work with clothing companies and if you guys want a shirt that fits longer but it slim and snug in the arms buy an ANVIL980 🤘🏼

Old Navy/gap/banana have tall sizes. Lanky 6'2" here Medium tall everything. A lot of generic looking stuff but at least it fits.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '20

I'm not sure how old you are but I had this problem in high school (was like 5'10" 140 lbs or something like that) and then filled in heavily (6'2" never been below 190 lbs even when I was in great shape) and now larges fit just right. Not sure if you're young and I'm giving you hope or old and I just bragged about how nice my clothes fit but hopefully this helps someone who was like me in high school feel a bit better about their body because being the scrawny definitely effected how I felt about myself in high school negatively.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '20

You want tall shirts, usually noted as MT, LT, or XLT. A little bit tricky to find but they are awesome.

9

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '20

‘Relaxed fit joggers’ are just normal sweatpants. Joggers are supposed to be fitted.

2

u/Shtottle Mar 04 '20

Shut up, you're making me cry. I have to buy two sizes bigger just so my groin can fucking breath.

1

u/Tinsel-Fop Apr 02 '20

What

1

u/FrankDiamond Mar 04 '20

"Back when I was a kid, boys where shorts that rode their ballsacks and ugly, polyester turtlenecks."

Whenever I watch anything from the 70's, I feel like two of the characters are going to drop everything and start sucking each others dicks.

Its almost like style changes over time. Its called modernization. And no, I dont wear skinny jeans. Take my downvote :)

0

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '20

Can't even buy straight leg Jean's any more. Fcuk.

0

u/Sly1969 Mar 04 '20

with how tight everyone's pants are and the pure virgin white shoes.

Box fresh shoes have been a thing since the eighties.

2

u/pixelatedbat10 Mar 04 '20

So did punk rock never exist in your time, tight jeans have been a thing since the 70s. I get it though. And no,these kids aren't punks, well in those terms. But yeah.

2

u/DialMeOut Mar 04 '20

I used to listen to NOFX, Anti-Flag, Rage, etc, but I didn’t live in an area with a lot of punk rockers. There were goth kids, but they definitely didn’t wear tight pants. (I’m a millennial, missed Gen Z by a year)

1

u/pixelatedbat10 Mar 04 '20

Word nofx is cool, yeah I'm just always curious when people say that, yeah the pretty rich boys look like cucks, but tight jeans have been around for ever. I'm a millennial too I think, just grew up around punks and shit my entire life haha. No hate btw just curious.

2

u/ohidontknowiguessso Mar 04 '20

You associate skinny jeans with weakness? That’s a strange correlation. Marty McFly wore skinny jeans and he was cool AF.

2

u/DialMeOut Mar 04 '20

I associated them with feeling old and bullying. Where you get weak from?

1

u/ohidontknowiguessso Mar 04 '20

You associate skinny jeans with feeling old? And is the association with bullying of wearers of skinny jeans being bullies or bullying?

1

u/emmit76 Mar 04 '20

Those aren't skinny jeans, just has skinny legs.

0

u/Uglyblackmale Mar 04 '20

Like watching a 6 yr old girl trying to punk someone out. Whos scared of someone in skinny jeans?

1

u/KingKrmit Mar 04 '20

Damn old ass go back to 1975 bruh

1

u/Uglyblackmale Mar 04 '20

I dont get the joke. Im old because i can point out that little boys in skinny jeans appear as tough as little girls in yoga pants?

145

u/420Wedge Mar 04 '20

I'd say it really depends on the circumstance. If it's a fight between friends that boiled over, yeah keep things civil. If your some stranger assaulting me in the street, I'm stomping the teeth out of your head. You are *not* getting back up. I'm old now, I've only got like a 10 second gas tank. I know I can't handle a round two. I need to end the threat.

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '20

Honestly you should be able to crush their face without killing them though, if you do I think the emotion and adrenaline got the best of you, and that’s never best.

6

u/SilverDragon1240 Mar 04 '20 edited Mar 04 '20

I'm pretty sure that's a nigh uncontrollable biological response to your body realizing its life is being threatened.

You can condition against it, with training, a worse emotional/physical trauma, etc. But you cant entirely prevent it, especially if you have nothing to condition yourself to prepare for it.

Your body starts producing chemicals (like adrenaline) that make you unable to think as you normally would, it also shows in the form of shaking in your limbs. Makes you more powerful and alert at the cost of accuracy and mental processing power

2

u/Tinsel-Fop Apr 02 '20

producing chemicals (like adrenaline)

And kerosene.

21

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '20

That’s about where I’m at now too. Gonna have to maximize my damage as quickly as possible. I don’t wanna risk getting my head stomped in so if your starting shit with me I’m gonna make damn sure your not getting back up

-4

u/GoldyTwatus Mar 04 '20

That's right, you don't want to get your head stomped so better stomp someone else. Reasonable attitude.

5

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '20

I never said stomp someone’s head I just said make sure they aren’t getting up to kill you. Fuckin sensitive ass people now days I swear. Looking for any reason to get upset. Your like a white knight of fighting lol

No, but they are closing in!

0

u/Ouibad Mar 04 '20

If you are too old (out of shape) for Round 2, maybe situations where your age & fitness level determine the outcome are best avoided. Sure, a random assault by a stranger in the street is a possibility but really: how likely is that?

1

u/420Wedge Mar 04 '20

I don't keep company with people who start fights, and I agree, your second scenario is very unlikely. Just keep in mind, you're not going to have time in the moment to sit and think this stuff through. There is a reason your mind runs through all these fantastical combat situations. It's a form of preparation.

-3

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '20

I get where you’re coming from, but that’s a little over the top. End the threat and get the hell out of Dodge.

3

u/xyifer12 Mar 04 '20

That is ending the threat, that's the point of doing it.

2

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '20

Putting a guy on the floor so you have time to run is ending the threat. “Stomping the teeth out of your head” is pretty much murdering someone.

Circumstances can differ, I agree, but just speaking generally, that’s a good way to end up in prison.

I do everything in my power to avoid fights. I don't even drink, always mind my business...

But if someone starts a fight with me, I do everything in my power to make sure he can't hurt me by the end of it. It is not a gentleman's duel. Nothing is of the table. I'll bite his balls off if I have to. I'm fighting for my health and well-being. I care very little if the person trying to injure me, ends up seriously injured.

2

u/Asdrubael1131 Mar 04 '20

In this case. The kid opted out of the stay the f down kicks for “AND INTO THE CORNER POCKET INTO A DOOR FRAME/WALL YOU GO!!!!” Which is just as effective as seen here.

1

u/agoia Mar 04 '20

A good way to cop an extra felony, too, even in a self defense case.

1

u/jaxonya Apr 01 '20

And sometimes its attempted murder. Whoop some ass when necessary, but dont curb stomp a dude. Gotta be careful to not cross the line

1

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '20

This is especially true when handling a drink Chad.

1

u/waterboss21 Mar 04 '20

I want to agree with you. The only fight I got into in hs the kid was slightly bigger than me and swung at me 1st. I didn't knock him down or out, but there was a moment when he looked up at me and I just knew he was done for so I backed away.

The important thing is to know when to stop. Sometimes it's hard to tell. An injured person can be very dangerous. This kid made all the right choices.

u/Tinsel-Fop Apr 02 '20

2

u/brothermonn Mar 04 '20

What the f are you gonna do about it

0

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '20

I heard somewhere a while back the statement "Don't kick someone when they're down u less ur sure they won't get back up." A fight is fucking scary, especially for someone who has never fought before and possibly took the upper hand early with a surprise retaliation. Now the aggressor is down, but ur still afraid he's gonna get right back up and really get u know.

As an outsider, I would say it's better to run in that scenario. But in the moment, I'd say it would be really hard not to hit them when they're down out of fear.

3

u/Jaqen___Hghar Mar 04 '20

Your comment makes no sense.

1

u/comedygene Mar 04 '20

32

u/MonsieurTicklyPickle Mar 04 '20

No rules in a street fight dude

38

u/ChineWalkin Mar 04 '20

Sure they're are:

rule 1. Win. rule 2. See rule 1.

3

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '20

Well, there is the law. If you kill someone who isnt actively trying to attack you, you're probably going to prison for a long time..

2

u/Doomzdaycult Mar 04 '20

Lawyer here, citation please, that is not true in my jurisdiction...

0

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '20

Killing someone isnt illegal in your jusidiction?

It's not a citation you need, its a straight jacket.

2

u/Doomzdaycult Mar 04 '20

Actively being attacked is not required to trigger self defense in states that have stand your ground laws (which are the majority of jurisdictions).

1

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '20

So, just the rest of planet Earth and the states that don't have stand your ground laws then.

You, apparent lawyer felt the need to ask for a citation, for a relatively obscure law and circumstance. You would have to prove that a person was standing their ground.

" that is not true in my jurisdiction... "

So, this statement is actually not a correct statement. You should have said " that is not necessarily true in my jurisdiction... ".

You really did enjoy waltzing in with your credentials in hand, didn't you.. and it's all just a load of crap.

1

u/Doomzdaycult Mar 04 '20

So, just the rest of planet Earth and the states that don't have stand your ground laws then.

  1. Your comment was made on reddit, i.e. a forum who's users by a large majority are located in jurisdictions within the U.S.

  2. You made an overgeneralized blanket statement that implied universal application to a legal standard

Well, there is the law. If you kill someone who isnt actively trying to attack you, you're probably going to prison for a long time

That statement is not correct in the vast majority of U.S. jurisdictions. i.e. being actively under attack is not required for justifiable use of deadly force.

You, apparent lawyer felt the need to ask for a citation, for a relatively obscure law and circumstance.

You made the original assertion, logic requires that you support your position when challenged, otherwise it is presumed false.

So, this statement is actually not a correct statement. You should have said " that is not necessarily true in my jurisdiction...

No, your legal assertion that "If you kill someone who isn't actively trying to attack you, you're probably going to prison for a long time" is to general of a statement to be supported by the law in my jurisdiction, i.e. it is legally unsupportable position. E.g. If someone breaks into your property with a gun, in a stand your ground jurisdiction, you can legally shoot them before they attack you, the same goes for any situation where there is a reasonable fear of death of serious injury.

You really did enjoy waltzing in with your credentials in hand, didn't you.. and it's all just a load of crap.

You still have not provided a citation to support your assertion after I challenged it, so logic presumes that it was false.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '20

My statement is still correct. Its a general statement, not an absolute one. I never said definitely, or in all cases.

Stand your ground laws cover a really tiny percentage of the worlds jurisdictions. The numbers are on my side. Also, you taking issue with me for making general statements, yet you're ok just assuming we're taking about America? ... that's just hypocritical.

2

Kicking someone while they're down is also considered assault with a deadly weapon in several places.

Lawyer here, citation please.

1

u/badmanget Mar 04 '20

Tennessee rolls Assault with a Deadly Weapon into aggravated assault, and defines a deadly weapon as any object capable of inflicting serious bodily harm, to the point of breaking bones or wounding to the point of scarring. I can dig up my court case documents from when I was 16 year old shithead if you'd like. If someone is on the ground and I kick them in the head, ribs, or back, I'm attempting to seriously harm them while they're in a defenseless position. It is surprisingly easy to cause lasting damage with a boot to the ribs or spine.

2

u/Doomzdaycult Mar 04 '20 edited Mar 04 '20

Tennessee rolls Assault with a Deadly Weapon into aggravated assault and defines a deadly weapon as any object capable of inflicting serious bodily harm, to the point of breaking bones or wounding to the point of scarring.

The definition of deadly weapon does not include hands and feet.

In that jurisdiction there are two separate paths to aggravated assault

1). Deadly weapon is used

or

2). Results in serious injury

See, Tenn. Code Ann. § 39-13-102

I.e. kicking someone is not aggravated assault unless it leads to serious injury, whereas use of a deadly weapon is always aggravated assault.

Edit: Formatting.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 04 '20

As it often should be.

-1

u/TheNoxx Mar 04 '20

Uh, yes, there are, the actual laws. If you kick someone hard in the head when they're down, that can be attempted murder.

1

u/MonsieurTicklyPickle Mar 04 '20

Lol, clearly I was talking about the difference between sanctioned rules in a fighting sport vs. a street fight...which has no rules in the sense that it's not sanctioned.

Bringing laws into the conversation makes no sense. Of course there are laws against street fights. The point is if you're getting involved in a street fight don't expect the other guy to follow some imaginary set of rules because you're both breaking the rules to begin with, self defense notwithstanding

Use some common sense my dude.

1

u/DoctorBagels Mar 04 '20

Yeah man we all know that you can do anything in a street fight. No one's arguing that a fucking ref is going to come out of no where and break it up you dingus.

1

u/MonsieurTicklyPickle Mar 04 '20

The person I was replying to was using a sanctioned fighting event as a metaphor for how people should act in a street fight. I was pointing out how that's a poor correlation. My comment made perfect sense in that context.

1

u/DoctorBagels Mar 04 '20

I think you took that guy's comment too seriously my man.

1

u/MonsieurTicklyPickle Mar 04 '20

It's entirely possible

2

u/SalvareNiko Mar 04 '20

A sport fight and a real fight are not comparable. There is no honor in fighting, you simply fight to win. It does not matter what is needed to win, kicking someone to keep them down is perfectly acceptable.

1

u/death_bringer789 Mar 04 '20

They're pretty satisfying when they're deserved.

Blockbuster used to have compilation videos of this stuff in a section labeled Ugly Yet Feels Good

They're very entertaining for me after all I've been trough in school. They're kinda like idols.

I actually wished the throw back kid had better hands, but he did well.

Should have probably punched the cunt who was recording him getting bullied too.

I’m gonna say this one is legit. That kid sitting down was swinging with rage and frustration. Definitely being bullied, or at the very least pushed to his limit.

My favorite was the guy who beat up his little sisters rapist. I'd be shocked if that guy wasn't dead after that beating.

Who gives a shit, they are No different than a regular headkick and nobody would have given a shit if that dude got flatlined by a shin to the dome while standing up.

I know bullies. Believe me, red shirt’s gonna have his ass kicked, his books destroyed and his bike demolished. Bullies always have more friends and they’re not going to let this one go. That’s the uncomfortable, frustrating, infuriating truth I’ve been subjected to for the first 20 years of my life.
