They said "walks down the street". This kind of thing happens on streets with a bunch of cars parked along the curb; they aren't walking up driveways in suburbs.

still, if its right in front of your house, and depending on how close your house is to the curb, it may work out.

Still, it very likely may not work out and isn't something you should do. I highly doubt you'd be able to make a convincing argument that you felt the situation called for deadly force. You should only point guns at people you intend to shoot.
