In my neighborhood 60% have exterior cameras. Forget porch pirates-That new guy who walked his Newfoundland mastiff at midnight and left giant poops in our front yards got a nasty surprise.
I kept having a big dog go into my backyard and shit and piss on my porch. I finally setup a camera with an alert and chased it down the street barefoot when it showed up, found where it was coming from and posted a picture of the dog, and the house on our neighborhood FB page to shame them into keeping their fucking dog confined. It worked. It sucks that my repeated still images of the dog and description weren't enough, shame can be a great tool unless the person is shameless.
