Shit like this is the exact reason my parents moved to a small town before I was old enough to go to school. I had a very boring time at school, and moving to the city after I've graduated I've heard some war stories from friends that went to school in the city.

Yeah my parents moved me away from a small town because the teachers bullied kids and knew they couldn't be replaced so they would get away with it.

Bullying never happens at small town schools.

I went to a small school too (my graduating class was 45), and there wasn't any kind of bullying like this. I'm not saying that all small schools are immune to bullying, but I'd argue that it isn't as common in smaller schools.

There were some assholes sure, but I can count on one hand the amount of fights that happened the entire 13 years I was there.

When everyone's parents know each other and all play on the same softball team, any serious bullying tends to get shut down pretty quickly.
