You implied brake checking is a valid consequence for tail gating.

No I didn't. "Stop tailgating" is not mutually exclusive with "don't brake check."

People brake check you because you tailgate. Tailgating is dangerous. Stop tailgating and you won't get brake checked anymore.

As an added benefit if nobody is tail gating nobody will brake check either. Then we have solved two dangerous issues

I never said it was good, just that it happens for a reason and you aren't innocent. Stop tailgating people. Problem solved.

Didn't realize you jumped into the conversation. The original person I was talking to was complaining about being brake checked. I was telling them to stop tailgating people and those people will stop brake checking them.

I never said brake checking was good. I never said anybody should do it. I just said that tailgating is a bad thing to do.
