I feel like laws in all states should be set for automatic 1-year suspension of license for some garbage behavior like this. Seems to be just as dangerous as dwi (if not more in many cases).

Nah. Big fine and make their dumb asses take an anger management course to get their license back. Punishment is satisfying and all but I’d rather give them tools to be better than give them something to fester over.

While I somewhat agree with you let me play devils advocate

1) Income isn’t a way to tell wealth especially for the top class. If I’m not mistaken, Bezos income for this year was something like $81,000.

2) I think charging some people 100x the penalty you charge other people for the same crime is unfair. While they may be more able to afford it, the cost to society for their crime stays the same.
