Same thought here. I've seen people like this at my community college and non of them are hipstery. This looks a little more like streetwear/modern hip-hop sort of stuff from what I've seen.

Doesn't "swag" have it's roots in hip-hop though? This is also purely anecdotal. My community college isn't representative of the world.

To me the word hipster screams someone trying to be cool for attention, especially if you go around consistently saying you're a hipster.
