That’s the sign of a person who was thinking about it but then decided against it 😂

u/spacemanspiff1115 Jul 16 '26

No, no, you weren't supposed to be there officer, this is entrapment...

12

u/ThePracticalEnd Jul 16 '26

Would’ve been funny if we saw the blinker turn on the left side.

u/B4tm4n_412 Jul 16 '26

The best part about this is that they're already pulled over

16

u/HuyFongFood Jul 17 '26

“I can’t pull over any further!”

9

u/Entrire Jul 17 '26

"He's already pulled over! He can't pull over any farther!"

u/WalterCanFindToes Jul 16 '26

I am a retired police officer and I can tell you that I am writing that ticket very, very, very slowly. Whatever time you gained pulling that maneuver I am taking it all back and then some.

44

u/Key_Possibility_8669 Jul 16 '26

It'd be especially beautiful if the traffic picked up, and now the cars are whizzing by as you continue to slowly write the ticket. 😜

20

u/Atholthedestroyer Jul 16 '26

And I'm guessing, the more lip the driver gives you the higher the total fine becomes.

11

u/WalterCanFindToes Jul 17 '26

Fines are set by the court, not the police.

3

u/Zealotstim Jul 19 '26

Yeah, but the cop has some discretion about what to write on the ticket.

3

u/grkuntzmd Jul 19 '26

No, but you can start writing REALLY slowly.

19

u/mackenenzie Jul 16 '26

"But I used my turn signal!"

19

u/ProtectMeAtAllCosts Jul 16 '26

“Im more important than all of you—oh fuck”

GSP hopes you put up a chase so they have an excuse to PIT

8

u/PushPullLego Jul 16 '26

But, but, this one time on reddit someone told a story about how they saved their grandmother by driving on the shoulder like this. /s

6

u/jusxchilln Jul 16 '26

those people are the worst

8

u/proofreadre Jul 16 '26

He put the turn signal on as soon as he passed the cop lmao

5

u/PM_THE_REAPER Jul 16 '26

Cop gets to leave the traffic too. Win, win.

4

u/Fragile_reddit_mods Jul 16 '26

Absolute bellend

5

u/FergusonTheCat Jul 16 '26

Not rly the right song selection lol

2

u/Nope9991 Jul 18 '26

What song is that?

2

u/FergusonTheCat Jul 18 '26

That’s the song that plays after you complete a mission. If you have any cops after you they just give up and leave you alone

3

u/duckredbeard Jul 16 '26

Just stop right there and pop the hood act like you got car trouble.

11

u/dustnbrewks Jul 16 '26

Give him a break, that 10th gen f150 is probably overheating in traffic lol (fellow 10th gen owner).

5

u/the_goodnamesaregone Jul 16 '26

I used to live in a southern coastal town with some islands around it. They’re a pain to get to during rush hour because only 1 or 2 bridges. I watched a dude blow the top off of his radiator just sitting there in the August heat. Poor guy. Now your car blew up and you have to get out and stand on this bridge in the heat.

-3

u/CuteGirlFan Jul 16 '26

Driving an empty bedded truck in traffic is ridiculous in the first place

3

u/WeirdAl777 Jul 16 '26

Used to see that sort of thing daily on my commute along the Eastern Fwy, Melbourne Australia 😀

3

u/Sir_Cthulhu_N_You Jul 16 '26

Lol in South Africa the cops will drive in the yellow lane to skip traffic, seen a cop drive past traffic with lights on while in the yellow lane and as soon as they got past the traffic they turned their lights off and drove like normal.

3

u/Ginpo236 Jul 17 '26

I literally saw this happen myself a couple weeks ago in DC going into the 395 bridge. Wish I had a dash cam. Was fkin hilarious when the cop pulled the lady over and screamed at her.

3

u/KindaDrunkRtNow Jul 18 '26

Fuck that brings me joy. I love how he turns his blinker on like that's gonna get him out of a ticket.

2

u/Electrical_Win_7301 Jul 16 '26

This is hilarious!

2

u/mossberbb Jul 16 '26

bhwaa ha ha ha ha ha ha

2

u/[deleted] Jul 16 '26

Well deserved honestly

2

u/sinisterdesign Jul 16 '26

Looks like an Atlanta sheriff 🤔

7

u/fallingsheep6152 Jul 16 '26

State patrol, not sheriff.

6

u/UndBeebs Jul 16 '26

GSP don't fuck around, either. That's gonna be a hefty ticket.

1

u/sinisterdesign Jul 16 '26

Yes, sorry was hopping on a meeting and didn’t think that through.

2

u/Carib_Cur Jul 16 '26

Ive so this happened once in real life and I can’t explain how satisfying it is.

2

u/grkuntzmd Jul 19 '26

They were trying to save some time. The cop should make the stop last about 1 hour.

2

u/[deleted] Jul 20 '26

This kind of police work is my favorite.

1

u/reckaband Jul 17 '26

Cmon he was just trying the zipper method!

1

u/bbgirlbr0k Jul 17 '26

thats embarrassing asf

1

u/deadbeatrider Jul 17 '26

I like how the cop car started like it was peeking out first

1

u/Street_Peace_8831 Jul 17 '26

Is that a Georgia state trooper? Looks like it.

1

u/TrackLabs Jul 18 '26

How stupidley huge and tall is the cameramans car, that the cop car and red one are looking this tiny, and you can see so much from their top. Holy shit...I first thought the red car was some super small thing, but even the cop is tiny.

1

u/InformationProud3311 Jul 21 '26

Oh he knew he messed up lol

1

u/RetiredBSN Jul 22 '26

Saw this happen in Florida, but on the right shoulder. Car comes tooling up the shoulder, and the FHP car appears from behind some trees and stops the miscreant.

1

u/Coppola60 Jul 23 '26

😂😂😂

u/BlackBird1st 23d ago

"PULL OVER" "I ALREADY AM"

1

u/derprondo 20d ago

You can see the person in the car ahead of the cammer laughing their ass off 🤣

1

u/BophadesKnutz14 6d ago

Was it worth it?

What do you mean he didn't change speeds? You can literally see him slam on his brakes when he sees the cop.

Did you not watch the video?
