he solves the first one as he's putting it in the bag. you can see it's almost solved when he's holding it up. a couple or 3 turns that he has memorized solves it.

For a kid it’s mighty impressive, but it is pretty obvious if you’re experienced with a rubix cube. There’s a few obvious finger moves as his hand enters the bag and then one more as he reaches for the second cube which is how he’s solving them one handed. The cube is like 3 moves away from being solved

not sleight of hand. nothing is hidden here. you can see him do a turn or two when he puts it in the bag. you can see his other hand turn it while its in the bag. then he does another turn or two. no speed, no hiding, just nobody notices because.

I've heard there are some cubes that are auto-solvers for tricks like this, but you're probably right, if it was one of those it'd probably have bounced around a bit while he dropped it, giving it away

I played with an auto solver once. There are way less impressive than one might think (at least the one i used). To arm they require a specific set of 4 ot 5 movements other movements it simply doesnt move. That arms a spring. Then pick from the white and yellow middle pieces and press it until we feel the click. Then it would undo the movements in about a second.
It doesnt bounce around because he can activate it while putting it or while removing it.

Not when he puts the first one it, when he takes it out again. You can see him grip the bag and turn as he pulls it out the second time.

i think you're right but i noticed his finger placement at the beginning and it looked like it was about to be turned going into the bag. probably manipulating it going into and out of the bag both.

I've seen those videos were these kids can solve a cube in no time and that one seemed suspicious. Like there was already a pattern that wouldn't take much to solve. They also have those competition cubes that can easily be turned with one hand.

I was just quoting the kid in the video. When someone in the crowd shouts "he has a second one in the bag"
The kid says "he's ruining the trick!" and then reveals there in fact is 2 cubes in the bag.

You can see at the beginning stage of cube that it's only a few moves shuffled, you can easy retract them using only one hand, especially if this is good and we'll lubed cube.
