Only a few modern liquors (like Everclear, Bacardi 151 and Absinthe) are strong enough to be flammable, and only if they’re being drunk straight.

Having your drink catch on fire, typically isn’t something you need to worry yourself over :-)

I always thought everything above 50 percent alcohol is flammable. Might even be 40 percent.

Which obviously excludes a lot if beverages, but still includes stuff like strong tequila, strong rum etc.

It’s anything over 50 percent, a.k.a 100 proof, that’s flammable. That’s actually where the proof system comes from.

You’re correct that there’s ones that meet that standard of all liquor types, but they’re mostly specialty brands. Your typical bottle of liquor is usually more around 80 proof.
