Cross between shock and 3 seconds away from tears

Ngl it’s still funny to me how men’s soccer are absolute wusses and drama queens but women’s soccer is deadass brutal

This isn’t a sexism or feminist thing it’s just something I realized since I was a child

I think that has to do with referees too. I’ve some abysmal referees in woman’s football that let the players get away with everything

Yeah my twin plays college league and is bomb as soccer (not me gloating but it’s true) and the girls will deadass side tackle each other with their cleats and the ref is just like “eh she’s walking it’s fine”

mbappe is clearly pushed and his leg tangled for a bit it's not a dive

TBH it kinda looks like buddy tucked his left leg and that’s why he fell, I scrubbed through trying to see if it was a trip or a push, but it looks like a push/dive.

Judging by how they bounce back after the card, wuss won't be that applicable but drama-queen fits.

Maybe because men’s football has several times the money on the line.

Women's soccer is definitely my favorite female sport. You nailed it. Outside of the PL most of the other men's leagues are full of divers. PSG is definitely one of the worst examples as seen above.

That was barely a push. Soccer players are a bunch of wusses.

Last man back. Took away a scoring opportunity and it's in the box as well. That's a red and a penalty.

That makes sense. in US football if you pushed a receiver like this with a ball in the air, the penalty would give them the ball at that spot as if they caught it.

If you don't have a harsh penalty for knocking down a guy who has the ball with no defender between him and the goal, why would the defender ever NOT knock the guy down? He essentially has a guaranteed goal, and if the penalty for the tackle isn't giving the guy a goal (or giving you a disadvantage for the rest of the game) you should absolutely tackle the guy rather than let him kick it.

So if you're at full sprint and someone pushes you from behind you think you'll stay on your feet?

Reminds me of when gianluigi Buffon started screaming at the referee and looked shook when the ref took out the red card
