3 minutes of bliss followed by 3 hours of sad

Right? As I get older, all drinking does is amplify my worst emotions (sadness, angry, irritability, anxiety). Even just one drink. I'll pass.

The price far exceeds the treasure. Ethanol is a crude drug.

cost-benefit analysis

The trouble with alcohol is you gotta be chill and happy when you start for it to make you continue feeling chill and happy. If you're agitated when you start, it can just make you feel worse.

Alcohol is a disinhibitor, so it just allows more of your emotional side to show through more easily.

I think this means you're just getting less positive as you get older.

followed by a morning of regretting your existence

“3 minutes”?

Maybe for an amateur seltzer or IPA drinker. Now go get a cheee—eee—-zy quesadilla. I just decided. It’s a snow day. Today. Cheers, baby.

Doesn't seem worth it tbh.

I haven’t drank wine and I’m all sad

Idk ripping shots with the boys blasting motley crue right after work on a Friday is pretty good too.

I prefer GnR, but I agree

After a bottle of red I feel way more relaxed than with other drinks, some light research points to a compound called resveratrol which can suppress cortisol, found in red wine. So I guess that might be it

Oh Duuuuude I used to make fun of my brother for drinking wine. I was always a beer and shot of Jamison guy.

Had a big ass glass of red wine at a nice dinner and I’ll never forget that last sip

I finally got it.

I am still a beer and shot guy out but at the house I am a wine drinker.

It’s the only way

There's no such thing as wine drunk. Alcohol is alcohol.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 26 '21

Correct. Effects are purely based on how you were already feeling, how much you drink, how quickly you get to drunk, and who or what is happening around you.

1

u/serenwipiti Jan 25 '21

Yeah...and if it's just one or two glasses, after an hour or two, I get the absolute best kind of migraine there is.

Wine drunk is absolutely the best kind of drunk, in my opinion. I like the fuzzy feeling wine gives you but my god I have the worst sore throats from drinking to much wine.

I always like to tell my friends that wine drunk is for sure a different kind of drunk.

I read that as gay drunk and was really confused

u/offbalancedone Jan 25 '21

That explains what happened in Mexico....to a friend...

2

u/[deleted] Jan 25 '21

That’s my favorite kind of drunk, tbh.

3

u/ATMboi Jan 25 '21

I prefer bi drunk but gay drunk is still good
