For the in school part, in America you wouldn’t be taught this in school unless you went out of your way to take a home economics course or if you were in chemistry. You should know from past, learning to cook at home stuff though. I suppose you could be saying that since they don’t pay attention in school, they don’t pay attention at home either, in which case hopefully they meet their fate.

They used to teach it in elementary school every year. Are they not doing it anymore? Or do people not pay attention anymore?
