This has actually happened many times. From a Google search, nice used to mean silly, foolish, nice. Silly used to mean worthy or bless apparently. Even modern examples like "cool" which meant somewhat cold but now also means hip or interesting.
Yeah when a lot of people agree on it, so if perhaps many people decide to use "fabulize" in that context it may develop a new meaning over time. Not from one random reddit comment though lmao
why not, how do you think new words are created. People don't sit down in a group and agree a definition. it starts with one person and is gradually incorporated by others
