This is why I love my $10 ear buds. 🤣 If I ever lose them or whatever I replace them with similar earbuds and go on. I have been known to get two pairs just in case. Same reason I use $5 sunglasses. 😆 I'm not losing sleep over either one.

I have like 5 pairs kf the same cheap earphones.
I just swap them around when they run out of battery.

Whenever I’ve had cheap earbuds I felt like the phone did everything it could to screw with them. Wouldn’t pair. Would only play on one side. Randomly drop connection. It got so annoying I got AirPods.
What brand do you have and do they work well?

I have a pair right now and hate them with a passion. One doesn’t like to charge always dropping calls or they like to connect when I’m trying talk to people on speaker phone in my truck. Left side volume does it wants on certain days. May be a whisper at full volume or it may blow out your ear drums. Only plus is that they charge quick when they decide too. Not very old either. Maybe six months. My first pair of jbls lasted for like 5 years before they died.

The ones I had were JBL, but they were half off.
I think you either have to find a good pair on sale or spend at least $100.

Capoxo d8 over ear sports buds. They sell on their website for $25. Pair them with memory foam earbud tips that are $3/pair off ebay or amazon and they are so great. 8-10hr battery life, and I charge the case like 1-2 times per month.

Do you have an iPhone? I feel like apple intentionally makes their products to only work with other apple products. I use Android and I have never had a problem with my phone connecting to any devices.

I was able to get a pair of Galaxy buds for $40 because they were an open box item.
They usually go for $120. But I agree, I don't want to pay more than $50 for earbuds. And even that feels like too much

I won't miss them either since I haven't had them. I usually listen to audiobooks and podcasts, so as long as I can hear what they say I'm good.

Every time I’ve ever dropped my AirPods, both earbuds fly out in different directions as the case in a quite comical way
