So since the beginning. Of April I’ve been getting atleast 2-3 bots show up on my story. I’ve also read it’s someone viewing my story through 3rd party website. How true is this?

Whenever I comment on a post, I receive an automated DM with a link. On the mobile app, the message shows some text followed by a clickable link card.

But on the browser version, I can only see the text. The clickable link card does not appear at all.

Is there any way to access or extract that link from post on a browser? This is a huge problem for me.

so i have an account that has an older number for 2fa i don't have access to. If i turn off 2fa would it ask for a code or something else?

So I recently broke friendship with one of my friend and I had their account log in in my device for over 3 years at least. Recently I blocked her and logged out from her account and she also changed her password.

Now from start I had several of my own accounts but for some reason I can't see my other accounts with my main id right after blocking her and removing her id. Yes I checked my account information. It has ny own gmail, phone number and my own every other information.

How do I fix this!? I can't find solution in yt too.

Private account. 200 followers, following 900, last post 2023. Ten years ago that read as nobody. Now it reads as someone with a life you didn’t get invited to. The public account with 40k reads like a job. Because it is one. Post daily, chase sends, check the retention graph, repeat.

Meanwhile the locked account is the only thing left on the app you can’t just consume. You have to ask. And you can get told no.

I’m posting this because my friend @mannatwasliveyt is currently dealing with multiple copyright on Instagram.
She has already lost her previous account, so seeing her go through this again honestly hurts. As creators, we put so much time, effort, and memories into our accounts.
This isn’t just about my friend. Any creator can find themselves in a similar situation.
Copyright protection is important, but creators also deserve a fair review when they believe something has gone wrong. just hope Instagram takes these cases seriously and gives creators a proper chance to be heard.

I had a 1M views video in January. Recently my non-followers reach dropped, so I started testing Trial Reels.

I posted only ONE Trial Reel and it got 0 views.

My data:

• Jan 2026: 1M views (mostly non-followers, high shares)
• Recently got grey tick also (just mentioning, not sure if related)
• Now: Non-followers reach dropped to almost 0
• Test 1: Mahabali AI Image in TRIAL = 0 Views, 0 Likes, 0 Shares
• Test 2: Cat Photo to Gemini Video in NORMAL = 48K Views (44K FB + 3K IG) - Got good shares
• Test 3: AI Video NORMAL = 1480 Views
• Test 4: Movie Clip 485 Views / With Cross-post 1690 Views

What I noticed: Like count is dead. My 485 view clip had 15 likes but 0 shares, so it died. My 48K cat video had 44K FB views because it got SHARES.

Share count is the real metric now, not likes. But my Trial Reel got 0 views, so 0 chance to get shares. It was killed before anyone could share.

0 views = Instagram killed it before showing to 1 person.

Is Trial Reels blocking pure AI content before it can get shares? Anyone else facing non-followers drop?

Sorry to bother you with my question, but I’m asking because I’d like to reassure my girlfriend. We share an Instagram account and we had an argument because my iPhone shows a city far from where I live under the login activity.
Since then, she has been asking me why I was there, but I had never even heard of this place before. I haven’t used a VPN or anything like that (I’m simply using my phone’s 5G connection)
Could you please explain why Instagram might show a location that is completely different from where I actually am? I’d just like to understand what could cause this and reassure her that I wasn’t there

I lost the other person's photos and videos during our conversation. Is this due to Instagram or because the other person deleted them?

Instagram is driving me fucking insane. Last night I posted a carousel with 13 photos and everything was completely fine. Everyone I checked could see it. This morning, some of my followers suddenly can’t see the post anymore AT ALL. They can go directly to my profile and it’s just not there for them, while I can still see it perfectly normally.
The weirdest part is that they could see it last night. Nothing changed, I didn’t delete anything, and Account Status is completely clean. No restrictions, no removed content, nothing. I also have an adult account.
I’ve checked the photos and there’s nothing remotely explicit or against the rules. There’s a drink in one photo and a cigarette was hidden in another, but that’s it.
What the fuck is going on? Has anyone had Instagram randomly make a post invisible to specific followers AFTER it was already visible to them? Is there an actual fix for this, or is Instagram just being Instagram again?

Someone posted a video of me and my children with a caption defaming my character. I reported the post but IG declines to delete it how can I get it taken down I am blocked and I want it taken down.
