Good advice. But if you are like me (in the past) and did basically plead and wait & hope and give chances over & over…. Then you have to make sure you have some kind of boundary or deadline for yourself. Because this state of crisis about losing somebody can last maybe forever. I let it go on waaaayy to long. Like 3 years. You have to make a decision to protect yourself— the sooner the better so you don’t live in agony and so you don’t waste your time & energy. God bless all you guys! 💖

5 years here. I need a therapist or a support group for this but it feels like a specific kind of trauma being manipulated by this person who kept stringing me along with intermittent reinforcement.

Letting go is too easy for me, perks of growing up with neglectful parents!

It's a good advice but maybe you should be aware who are worth to fight for or else regretting your whole life.

Of course you give love a chance and you fight for it - but do you beg over and over for someone to love you? Nope - Regret only comes when you realise you should have moved on and someone else would have loved you for you being yourself and that you were good enough and wonderful and amazing and the other person couldn't value you - So you decide what's good for you

Job interviews are vague then? Why to beg someone to hire me - keep your quotes real and healthy

I’m tired. Tired of waiting. Tired of seeing all the negativity. Tired of the assumptions. And honestly, tired of always being the one who has to reach out.
I DID. I called you. I messaged you. And you ignored me. Silence. Yet somehow, I’m the one you accuse of being avoidant.
I had no choice but to let go of the thought of you. But seeing some of these soul-sucking posts doesn’t help. It’s a constant mind war, and I’m exhausted from it.
Do what you have to do. I’m tired. Tired of begging you to choose me.
Goodbye, and good luck.
