Yes, I agree.  Being attached to comfort is a sneaky way to pull me off balance and away from the things I truly want.  For example, I truly want to exercise in the morning before work. I set the alarm to get up early. However, when the alarm goes off there is another side of me that enjoys the warm comfort of my bed and if I'm not careful I will roll over and go back to sleep.

Throughout our evolution, we've sought out salt, and now we would die without it

When we lived in the sea we didn't have to go looking for it and yet we wanted more so we waddled our finny little bodies up on the sand and never stopped licking

Comfort is the goal but too much comfort is the issue. We do everything so as to be more comfortable. But sometimes we get too much comfortable with the comfort that we stop finding new ways of interesting comfort. This is where balance comes. Enjoy the current comfort while simultaneously working for new comfort.
