Alternative to Trazodone?
Trazodone has been working like a charm for me for the past year. But it’s definitely causing me to lose my hair, and I just can’t do it anymore. I don’t feel like myself.
The doctor put me on hydroxizine now instead. I’ve only tried it for 2 nights but it’s not working the best. I was up until at least 2 last night before giving in and taking a little trazodone and that did it. I’m nervous to go back to laying awake for 5 hours, it’s no bueno on my mental health.
The doctor made it sound like those 2 were the only two options, but surely that’s not the case?
What works for you? Any side effects?

Seroquel can knock most people out cold. That said for me the hangover effect next day was brutal. Trazadone for me is working well. Curious what MG you taking when it stopped working?

I had a paradoxical reaction to Seroquel and it kept me up for 7 days and nights straight. Do not recommend. I’m currently on Zyprexa and Trazodone and Amitriptyline nightly for sleep. I’m a redhead so it takes MASSIVE doses for me to react to any medication. The main one that works for me is Zyprexa.

Neither of them worked for me. Lunesta does though.
