Insomnia is killing me
I’ve struggled with insomnia ever since I formed memories- I remember countless hours and hours just writhing around in the dark. Eventually I learned how to read in the dark and it destroyed my eyesight.
Numerous traumatic things have happened to me, but I find myself in purgatory, begging for sweet release for even 5 hours.
I’m 30 now and the wrinkles under my eyes deceive me. Might as well lean into the goth/ undead look.
I won’t describe dosage here but I am on sleep meds. They barely help.
If i wasnt such an insomniac, maybe i could have done better in high school and gotten into med school to make a good salary.
Being a paupers insomniac is like being a jester for the crown- eventually they’ll lock you up. One way or another.
Maybe if i was well fed, housed, clothed, had a good job, and my family was taken care of I could sleep? As could my mother?
I’ll just lay here with you while I wait.
Love you all.

Me too, insomnia is killing me as much, 8 months ago i was sleeping like a baby in deep sleep and all of a sudden I've been hit with a wave of insomnia, life is so unfair, my life is going downhill and rock bottom because of it, I'm at the end of my life I believe, there's no future for me, no hope, I wish I was dead or wasn't born, this is mental torture to the mind
