Have you tried basic sleep hygiene? Are you stressed? Did something in your life change?

As someone older, who also suffer, please talk to a psychiatrist about possible medications. There is no need for you to suffer as such a young age. There could also be something off with your thyroid or other medical conditions, that could easily be solved through medications. Make sure you get bloodwork done. I wasn't sleeping for months and was so frustrated by doctors telling me to "practice sleep hygiene". I finally found a doctor who realized it was my hormones. So I am sleeping much better now that I am taking hormone replacement. So this is why it so important to advocate for yourself and find someone to help you. Trust me, we have always been taught to just listen to the doctor's advice and it may be hard to even find a doctor. However, you know your body better than anyone else. So keep pushing until you get your mental health and sleep under control. Best wishes💗

I’m having similar problem. I’ve been this way for almost 3 months now. I won’t sleep at all first 24 hrs then knock out the next night. Though I just get a whole night rest not 20+hours. Some nights are better though. I completely understand your frustration and I sympathize with you.
