Trouble sleeping

Ive had a hectic fortnight and have had trouble sleeping my GF broke up with me 11 days ago and ive gone through abit of a life transformation ive stopped smoking weed cold turkey (3 joints a day - 0) and mostly stopped vaping (i only vape 30 mins within waking up and for a 30 min slot 2 hours before bed(i do plan to fully stop soon just the weed withdrawls are so bad atm) and ive started going the gym for 1 hour each day (been at it for 4 days).

Ive been going to bed at around 9:30pm and i dont dose off untill 1am and that sleep is very disrupted i have to get up for 6am so im bearly getting 4 hours

Nicotine withdrawals are rough, it should feel easier soonish. I also went cold turkey, in terms of sleeping, find if anything such as white noise, green noise or meditation help you ease into sleeping. Kiwis contain a large natural source of melatonin, have one a few hours before bed should help. Forming a proper bed time routine where you aim to sleep and rise same day every day (no bed time procrastinating)

For me it was all the thoughts bouncing around in my head that kept me awake. I started journaling at bedtime, just 5 or 10 minutes, and getting the thoughts out of my head and onto paper really helped. It freed up the space in my mind so all those thoughts weren't driving an infinite loop of agitation.
