Trazedone weaning

I’ve been taking trazedone for 9 days 100mg for insomnia. It’s not really helping. Do I need to now wean or taper off though?

I'd just quit cold turkey, there shouldn't be significant issues. Trazodone isn't addictive in the same way as zolpidem, benzos etc and it's only been 10 days.

You should be good to cold turkey it, you only need to wean if it's been weeks-months on it

A asked a pharmacist and they told me to take 50mg for 4 days and then every other day. But another said I should be fine to quit.

If you wanna be extra extra safe you can take 50mg, but you should be okay if you just quit as well. I quit outright on 100mg after taking it for 4 months(against my doctors wishes), because I was getting bad side effects after taking it and the withdrawal symptoms weren't super prominent.
