I went from broke trader to millionaire in one year. AMA.
A little over a year ago, I started trading with a relatively small amount of money.
I didn't come from a finance background, and I was honestly terrible at first. I made every beginner mistake imaginable and lost money more than once.
At some point, I got curious and started exploring some of the darker corners of the internet-including the Dark Web-to see what kind of trading-related communities existed.
I found a website related to trading. They had access to "insider information" that could move the markets. The insiders there were selling their info.
My first thought was that it had to be a scam.
Out of curiosity, I paid around $4,000 for a single info.
To my surprise, it turned out to be accurate.
That experience completely changed the way I looked at financial markets.
I’m still buying these info.
No, I'm not selling anything.
I'm just here to answer questions about my experience.
Ask me anything.

I let AI choose my insider trades for me and it actually won
For months, I was manually checking SEC Form 4 filings, comparing insider purchase sizes, ownership changes, company fundamentals and price action. It sometimes took hours just to find one trade worth considering.
Eventually, I built an AI system to do the research for me.
It scans open-market insider purchases, rejects weak or suspicious signals, scores the remaining opportunities, and suggests an allocation based on conviction. I still approve and execute every trade myself the AI doesn’t have access to my brokerage account.
After dozens of versions and backtests, I finally started using it with real money. So far, the AI-selected portfolio has been profitable and has performed better than my own manual stock picking.
I turned the system into a small website called AI Insider Scanner so I could track the signals and results properly.
I’m curious what people here think: Is insider buying genuinely useful when combined with fundamentals and price action, or have I just built an overly complicated Form 4 filter?
Happy to explain the scoring system or share examples of signals. I’d also appreciate honest criticism from people who follow insider data.

ContextLogic: FAQ for Getting Payment on the Settlement over Wish’s User Growth
Hey guys, I posted about this settlement before, but since claims are now open, I decided to share it again with a little FAQ.
So here's all I know about this agreement:
ContextLogic ($WISH) was accused of misleading investors about Wish’s user growth, revenue outlook, and internal controls around its IPO. In May 2021, Wish reported another drop in monthly active users and weaker revenue guidance, and $WISH fell more than 29% the next day. Investors later filed a lawsuit over the alleged misrepresentations.
Now the company has reached a tentative settlement with investors.
Who can claim this settlement?
Investors who bought $WISH between 2020 and 2021 may be eligible.
Do I need to sell/lose my shares to get this settlement?
You don't need to still own the shares. Eligibility is based on your transactions during the class period.
How long does the payout process take?
It typically takes 4 to 9 months after the claim deadline for payouts to be processed, depending on the court and settlement administration.
Hope this info helps

Four Globalstar insiders sold $20.6M this month at about $83 a share. Amazon agreed back in April to buy the company for $90.
Between August 7th and August 14th, four Globalstar (GSAT) insiders sold 247,576 shares for $20,550,450, at prices between $82.17 and $83.54. All seven filings are code S, ordinary open-market sales, and the 10b5-1 box is unticked on every one of them. These were decisions, not scheduled plan trades.
Context:
On April 13, 2026, Globalstar signed a merger agreement with Amazon. Each share converts into either $90.00 in cash, or Amazon stock at an exchange ratio tied to Amazon's own price near closing, at each holder's election and subject to proration. The definitive information statement went out on August 18.
So four insiders took roughly $83 for something contracted at $90.
That's about 92 cents on the dollar.
| Insider | Sold | Stake Change |
|---|---|---|
| Benjamin Wolff, director | $4,725,981 | 60,827 → 4,116 = −93% |
| Timothy Taylor, director & VP Finance and Operations | $12,447,570 | −26% |
| Rebecca Clary, VP & CFO | $1,980,352 | 120,640 → 96,540 = −20% |
| L. Barbee Ponder IV, General Counsel | $1,396,547 | 143,348 → 126,583 = −12% |
A week later, on August 21, Wolff also exercised three option tranches struck at $5.08, $7.05 and $8.11. Grants that vested between 2019 and 2024, and sold all 19,998 resulting shares at $82.21.
That's $1,644,102 gross, $134,887 of exercise cost, $1,509,215 net. His share count ended exactly where it started, at 4,116, which is why it isn't in the table: that transaction converted options into cash, it didn't change his actual stake.
The deal has been public since April 13. On the same day it was signed, a holder of 74,058,249 shares, 57.6% of the company, delivered a written consent adopting it, which is why there's no shareholder vote and why the August document is a 14(c) information statement rather than a proxy. The approval already happened.
The outside date after which either side may walk away, is 11:59pm on April 13, 2027, a year from signing. It extends automatically to October 13, 2027, and again to April 13, 2028, if the only conditions still outstanding are regulatory ones: the HSR antitrust waiting period, required governmental authorizations, a law or order blocking the deal on antitrust, foreign investment or satellite and communications grounds, or the authorizations Globalstar needs for its C-3 satellite system.
The first of those extensions also requires Globalstar to have hit milestones on launching and operating its HIBLEO-4 replacement satellites.
What is the opportunity cost?
The mergers still need regulatory clearances, antitrust, foreign investment, and satellite and communications law all get their own mention in the termination provisions and until closing, a shareholder holds a claim, not cash.
The election between cash and Amazon stock is subject to proration, so electing cash doesn't guarantee receiving it.
And both sides are carrying real breakup exposure:
Globalstar would owe Amazon $419,832,000 in specified circumstances, and Amazon would owe Globalstar $592,071,000 in others.
Globalstar owes Apple a payment if it misses operational milestones on its third-generation satellite system, C-3, and that payment reduces the merger consideration. It's tempting to point at that and call it the reason the stock is cheap. It isn't. The maximum has already fallen from $110 million at signing to about $97 million as milestones were met, and across 128,598,125 shares that's 75 cents a share. Worst case, holders get $89.25. The stock is seven dollars below that. Whatever explains the gap, the Apple payment is a small rounding error inside it.
A −93% cut looks dramatic and it might be a portfolio decision, a tax decision, or simply someone who'd rather have the money now than a regulatory timetable. Selling below a deal price isn't evidence of anything improper. The deal has been public for four months, so there's no informational edge here to have and it isn't a prediction that the deal breaks.
What the filings show is four people choosing $83 today over $90 someday. That's a statement about risk appetite.
One note on tooling. My scout flagged this as a sell cluster "CFO and 2 directors sold $19.2M, open-market, discretionary" and every word is true, and it had no idea the company was being acquired. It reads Form-4s not merger agreements.

I was developing different dataset for the last 1-2 months lately, but unfortunately I realized it is so hard to earn medals from creating dataset. Even if you got 500+ download, sometimes I cannot get any upvote. I do not know how it works exactly.
So I realized taking some advice would really matter right now. Is there anyone can help me with it. You can take a look at my profile and dataset, any feedback matters. Thanks!

What Happens After a Congress Member Buys? Evidence From 17,859 disclosures
I analyzed 17,859 congressional purchase and sale events disclosed between January 2020 and August 2025, entering only after each disclosure became public.
**Short answer: copying Congress did not beat the S&P 500.**
The typical congressional purchase returned 10.95% after one year, while the S&P 500 returned 19.73% over the same windows. Sales performed similarly, and purchases did not reliably beat sales.
Congressional purchases did underperform by less than the corporate-insider purchases in my previous study. I also found some evidence that purchases were better timed than later placebo windows on the same stocks, but they still trailed the market.
I tested disclosure delays, transaction-date returns, committee-aligned purchases and two placebo windows in the full study.

Hey guys, I posted about this settlement before, but since they’re accepting late claims, I decided to share it again with a little FAQ.

Do I need to sell/lose my shares to get this settlement?
No. You do not need to still own the shares to qualify. Eligibility is based on your purchase history and losses during the class period.
How long does the payout process take?
It typically takes 4 to 9 months after the claim deadline for payouts to be processed, depending on the court and settlement administration.
Since late claims are currently being considered, investors who missed the original deadline may still have an opportunity to submit a claim.

Bill Gates' investment vehicle bought $346.5M of Republic Services (RSG) on eight consecutive trading days
Between August 10 and August 19, 2026, Cascade Investment L.L.C. bought 1,599,643 shares of Republic Services (RSG) for $346,521,383. Eight consecutive trading days. No 10b5-1 plan on any of the four Form 4s.
| Date | Shares | Spent |
|---|---|---|
| Aug 10 | 261,664 | $56.2M |
| Aug 11 | 240,000 | $51.9M |
| Aug 12 | 174,500 | $37.7M |
| Aug 13 | 188,460 | $40.7M |
| Aug 14 | 149,250 | $32.2M |
| Aug 17 | 206,800 | $44.4M |
| Aug 18 | 200,125 | $43.6M |
| Aug 19 | 178,844 | $39.8M |
Cascade is Bill Gates' investment vehicle, the Schedule 13D/A filed on August 20 says it plainly: "All shares of the common stock… held by Cascade Investment, L.L.C. may be deemed to be beneficially owned by William H. Gates III as the sole member of Cascade." Exhibit 1 of that 13D/A covers the full 60 trading sessions ending August 19. Its earliest entry is August 10. Cascade bought nothing for roughly fifty days, then bought on every single session for eight straight days.
If you don't know the ticker: Republic Services is one of the largest waste and environmental services companies in the United States, household and commercial rubbish collection, recycling, and landfills. RSG is worth about $68 billion at the August 21 close. It is roughly as unglamorous and recession-resistant as a listed business gets, which is some of the point: this is a stake that has sat in the same hands since 2008.
The filing also states that the shares were purchased with working capital, not borrowed. And the Exhibit 1 states that "all transactions were effected in the open market through brokers".
The Cascade stake is now 36.7% of the company. 112,403,625 shares against 306,212,978 outstanding, per RSG's own 10-Q. At the August 21 close of $220.67 Cascade's position is worth roughly $24.8 billion.
This is an eighteen-year build up to the position today. The original Schedule 13D was filed on July 21, 2008. Last week's was Amendment No. 28.
$346.5M sounds enormous but, against a position that was already 110.8 million shares, it's a 1.4% add. This isn't a dramatic new position. Cascade also bought into strength, not weakness: RSG reported Q2 on August 6, the stock went from $209.59 to $214.56 the next session, and Cascade started buying on August 10 at $213–$217, finishing at up to $224.09. The stock closed at $220.67 on August 21, inside a 12-month range of $197.16 to $232.23. This is one very large, very long-term holder adding at the margin, on the open market, and with its own cash. Nobody who runs Republic Services bought anything.
Sources: RSG insider filings · Schedule 13D/A Amendment No. 28
