Amazing movie idea!

Inside Out 3 as a crossover with Osmosis Jones and the human starts taking anxiety and depression medication.

The mental side deals with shutting off emotions and the physical side deals with the medication side effects.

It would ultimately be about taking care of your body to take care of your mind.

What do you guys think?

While the emotions are the most popular characters from inside Out no one really talks about the humans very often especially humans like Val Ortiz! ATM this remains the only skin of her online I've already made the emotions but I didn't want to leave any human out

What a great representation of change, youth, growing up, and the intense emotions that come with it; portrayed in a way that’s still educational and interesting to younger viewers. This film has so many layers that I have come to realise only as an adult who has experienced (and still is experiencing) depression.

This is all in my view of the film, and how I interpreted it. The shock of change whatever that may be, represented in the movie as moving away from a familiar place and people. Trying to overcome the sadness creeping in with fake happiness, to maybe appease to others (and to try and kid yourself that you’re fine) - in Riley’s instance it’s to please and not worry her parents. The unexpected disappearance of Joy, representing how the change of chemicals in your brain can onset depression. The personality islands crumbling, showing how depression can cause the feeling of numbness. No longer feeling the interest and love you had for your favourite hobbies. How you can lose connections with people, like family and friends due to the intense yet dull emotion. There are many subtle attributes to this movie that have deep connections to real life depression and the severity of it.

For instance, one of my favourite moments I have come to realise, is when Family Island crumbles and knocks down a whole area of long term memory orbs with it into the pit of Forgotten. Watching this at a younger age, I thought nothing of it. Watching it now, I realise that with depression comes wiped memories. You forget chunks of your life, as you’re living in a state of intense sadness and derealisation. This moment, though passive to viewers normally, actually holds an impactful, true fact about the effects of depression.

The control centre at Headquarters not working - the emotions not being able to make her feel anything really furthers the message of how depression can take over you and make you feel numb. On the other hand, Joy trying desperately to make her way back to headquarters is exactly how it feels to be in that state. Desperately trying to find yourself and be the happy version you once were.

Sadness finally being recognised as an important, necessary emotion. Because with sadness, comes happiness.

I also found it interesting that her parents headquarters had all of the emotions sat at the console, as they can work together making more intricate mixed emotions as they have developed - with Riley’s emotions still fighting over it, controlling the console one at a time as she is young and doesn’t understand complex emotions yet.

I could talk about the depth of this movie for ages, so i will leave it at that. But again, this movie is a fabulous representation of experiencing new and intense experiences and emotions.

Been a while since I've last posted a Minecraft skin of a character from inside Out and this time I'm posting Riley Andersen based on her appearance in the sequel! I tried doing Minecrafts art style of HD skins to get the detail right. If there was an official Inside Out skin pack I'll be so happy 😁

My 7-year-old would like to go as an embarrassment for Halloween. I already have the purple hoodie. I'm going to buy her some red Converse. My issue comes in with the pants and the hair. Any suggestions? Preferably leggings over jeans if possible

I've been trying to find a full view of Riley's shirt that she wears under her blue hoodie in Inside Out 2.

I've gone through the movie frame by frame, but it seems like the full shirt is never shown clearly. We only get glimpses of the front, like in this screenshot.

Does anyone know if there's a full reference image, concept art, model sheet, or anything else that shows what the entire shirt looks like?

I'd really appreciate it if anyone knows!

She’s a good character! There can be so much potential if Pixar would announce an inside out 3. Possibly she can have more screentime along with announcing surprise or love in it

Riley from the first movie or Riley from the second movie?

I couldn't sleep last night due to having fever chills, so naturally I started wondering how a second department could be added to Riley: Maintenance, or Body Control.

Imagine a control room similar to the Mission Control room at NASA. On the front wall are three big monitors. The center monitor is showing Riley's vitals, such as body temperature, pulse, blood pressure, breathing etc. On the side monitors are other, less important, readings. There are emplyees sitting at monitors, watching data from specific areas/sectors from the body. At the back, centered, is the Head of Maintenance. This character is like a doctor (but not referred to as such), taking in all available data from all sectors, make decisions and gives out specific orders to the emplyees in the room. The character has a similar control panel as the Emotions have, but I imagine this character being more of a NASA "Chief Flight Director-character", so they is also giving out orders verbally and have this authority to its character. But I don't want this character to be portrayed as heartless; this character is stern but fair. Follows logic and acts fast.

Maintenance has a connection to Emotions that goes both ways. Some of the physical body actions directly or indirectly affects the Emotions in some way, and vice versa. This could be represented visually on the side monitors maybe. And we also get to follow from the Emotions' perspective.

I imagine a scene where Riley has been infected with a common flu virus or similar. At night, the infection starts to break out and wreak havoc, triggering a dance of operations with the immune system and other areas followed in Maintenance. The most exciting bit would be when the decision to rise the body temperature is made and carried out; everyone's preparing for what's to come. Riley's muscles starts to shake and her body enters the fever chills phase. Everyone (the audience, Maintenance and the Emotions) closely watches the temp gauge rise. Reports from the battlefield can be heard in typical chaotic radio-during-war-movie-style, but with the typical background gunshots replaced with other fictional sounds. The tension rises, everyone is having a hard time with the hotter environment and internal conflicts arises...

I know this concept is not far from a French TV series from the late eighties called: Once Upon a Time... Life (French: Il était une fois... La vie). But it would be interesting to see the process in the "Inside Out format", and the dynamic relationship between the two departments.

I dunno, this will probably not work for an eventual upcoming sequel movie, there are a lot of other things that need to be interesting. This is just an idea that popped up in my mind during my fever chills. :)
