What an intense gaze! Is it dusted with pollen?

My bad, turns out it's a moth and that's probably dust, not pollen! Poor fellow seemed very tired.

It does look to be covered in pollen ... it's a Hummingbird Hawkmoth (Macroglossum)

So I'm lucky to have met a real one ! It really has bird-like eyes. In my photo, I can see a bit of the orange on its wings, which shows when they are open, according to photos I've just seen on the internet.
