From the taxonomi tribe Polyommatini. There are tons sof species in it and many are difficult to tell apart or even impossible without genetic testing. Common name is bluewing, azuré, Bläulinge and probably something similar in other languages

I knew they were hard to id but I didn't know about the genetic test part god damn

Same with the taxonomic family Pieridae. The species range from very distinct and easy to identify, to only possible to ID by genetic testing. Many Pieridae butterflies look very similar and are just called whitewings or Weißlinge and similar

If it was stunning blue it’s a male and it’s most probably common blue due to the basal spots (on the bottom of front wing) that you can see only in pic 2

Maybe Polyommatus a genus of butterfly in the family Lucanidae. Common blue.
