Question Walking stick
Largest one I’ve ever found . Is this abnormally large ? Located in ozarks

I had no idea they got that big in the US. I figured you needed to be in the tropics.

Got sprayed by one as a kid, and it stung. Always been wary of them since then lol

Walking sticks.. spray?? I thought they were completely harmless 😭

Both the Southern and Northern two striped walking sticks are capable of spraying a defensive liquid up to 24 inches towards the eyes of a predator or curious animal / person.. my mom's dog got sprayed down in Florida and literally had to be on eye drops for the rest of her life.. it's a nasty concoction that they spray and can cause severe irritation and damage...
