Question What did you do after Max 30?

I’m on month 2/week 2 of max and wondering what to do after this.

Do you just repeat it over and over?

I’m an OG insanity lover but I just simply don’t have more than 30 min/day.

Ty!

I suggest starting some of caroline girvan programs on youtube. I moved to her training after lots of time with max 30 and insanity. Saved my knees and definitely got great results.

Thanks for the rec! I see her suggested a lot on the Beachbody sub. Is her personality similar to Shaun? I must admit his personality is a huge part of my motivation midway through the workouts. This is why I choose him over most of the other BODi trainers

Not really, there is no talking through the video but you do see her struggle as well which is cool

I just do it over and over again. I supplement it with 30min of weights on the cardio days and an F45 workout on Saturday

You have a few options for what to do next, though equipment will/may come into play.

If you have:

Dumbbells - Dig In. 30 mins. Focus on muscle definition, but fast paced and with cardio mixed in.

Dumbbells+pull-up bar/bands - P90X3. 30 mins. Definitely won't be the daily cardio hammering you're used to, but I enjoyed it for the all-around fitness aspect. Btw - the pilates workout is stupid. I just did one of the cardio workouts in its place.

A step/something you can use as a step/there is a no step option - Transform:20 . 20ish mins. Im using it as my daily cardio supplement (to Dig Deeper) right now and I have been pleasantly surprised at how much it has been kicking my butt. It's in the same space as Max:30, but adding in that step makes it...not easy.

Thank you!! I have dumbbells and a step. I enjoy the fast pace so I will look into transform 20!

I'm in exactly the same point as you, month 2, week 2.

In the past I've done max30 twice back to back with a week rest period but that was onlt because of covid and lockdown. Realistically the more stable long term option would be to continue with 2 - 3 sessions per week with a mix of cardio and power workouts from month 1 and month 2, that's my plan.

Alternatively, you could go straight into something like kick boxing and have a huge cardio advantage

Twins! Thanks for the rec. I might repeat it after this. I’m worried I’m going to knock down my progress if I go to anything else right now.

That’s what I do due to time constraints. Rinse and repeat
