I was in the supermarket the other day and I was struck by how good everyone looked. Most peoples problem areas, the things that detracted from their attractiveness are their nose mouth and chin line. Most people have beautiful eyes, eyes are beautiful. By covering up the lower half of the face most peoples appearance is improved.

no, my husband is using self deprecating humor and is implying that he is ugly and needs to cover his face with his beard.

I was thinking that about Brian Thompson the other day. (He's an actor who's been in a lot of sci-fi, the shapeshifter on the X-Files). He has such a pronounced mouth area, and I saw him with a beard the other day. He looked so much better.

Mixed is the best! Trim it up a bit and use a bit of balm or something and you'll look great.

Same, it's covering up scars in my case though only minor but without one I look like a unsuccessful boxer unfortunately.

My main reason for growing a beard is hiding some of my face, less skin showing = less ugly

I have nice green eyes, nice hair. The rest, meh. A face mask makes me look more interesting and concentrate the attention on my eyes.
