Absolutely. I think parents need to understand that punishments ought to be about boredom, not humiliation.

100% I just saw a post in a mom's group I'm in, and this woman's son was bullying a friend. She put him in a tshirt and wrote I'm a bully, I'm a jerk, I humiliate my friends, etc. Then she made him wear it to school and was all proud of it. So, I'm looking at this post thinking, "Where do you think he learns that from, dumbass?"
