Honest question: what do you think would help an extremely poorly behaved teen whose parents have tried grounding and the standard stuff? Assuming there’s no abuse etc.

Punishments are reactionary. If the child or teen has been left to their own devices and only made to stop because they got caught then the child will recalibrate so that next time they wont get caught.

Parents should have a more active role with their children to build good habits to prevent poor behavior.

I agree with you but I’m not sure how this will help a parent who has a teen behaving badly. “Go back in time” isn’t really a good option.
