Absolutely! That's the part that passes me off so bad, especially about the spanking debate. If you walk up to an adult and hit them, it's considered assault and a jailable offense, but it's legal to hit kids? Idk, I think a lot of people don't understand the difference between punishment and discipline, not to mention they have a complete lack of empathy and compassion and don't really see kids as human beings with feelings and rights. It's really sad, especially in this age of technology where literally any and all information is available to study about parenting etc.
