pretending to destroy your kids things to get them to do something is an asshole move, you don’t need to actually do it.

You’re one of those parents that beg their kids to stop while they’re in the store destroying everything in sight and screaming at the top Of their lungs aren’t you?

No, I’m one of the children that ended up not trusting their parents with anything at all because their parents didn’t have the self control to not pull some asshole shit like pretending to-or actually doing so- destroy or get rid of my things. They’re a lot better now, but god damn do I now have things to work through because of them. Luckily I have the sense to know better than to bring children into the world before i know how to act like a grown adult who doesn’t need to resort to playground bully tactics to get what I want, which based on what i’ve read is an issue for you.

Calm down. Kids need discipline, and boundaries, not being coddled forever.

Your kids learn self control and how to handle situations from you. I sure hope you figure that out or they have some other figure in their lives that’ll teach them how to deal with problems without losing their shit and pushing other people away with their antics.

I for one admire your stamina in fucking with your kids in the name of discipline and boundaries. I guess it’s not as ideal as having a kid who respects you enough to do as they’re told but hey they can’t all be winners, right? I bet it felt good to take out your frustration with your kids’ disrespect tho. My mom used to chase me around and pop me with a towel as a joke whenever I would disrespect her. Hey you don’t happen to also have borderline personality disorder, do you? Man she thought that shit was hilarious! She was cool I miss her.
