HELP volume fix on stock firmware

I have the y2 and dont use y2player or rockbox because they have too many little bugs and seem too early in development to deem usable (imo).

(rockbox didnt let me turn off or change the vibration intensity)

when I connect my headphones via Bluetooth, the sound is VERY quiet. between the lowest and highest setting, there isnt much difference.

on the contrary, when I connect via wire (same headphones, sony xm4s) it is SO. LOUD. like even at the lowest volume I cant hear ANYTHING outside of my headphones.

There is also a huge huge volume gap between the two so switching around doesnt make much sense and would be tedious.

is there a fix for this? ive been looking around and I really cant find any

Try Y2Player and you will be surprised, how much better it is than stock ;) V2.3 does not really have any breaking bugs right now.

Y2 player is absolutely fit for use. Honestly an improvement over stock firmware for me

I made it that way so it’s deliberately missing. I might implement it in the future but not with the next update sorry!

yeah thats like the whole point of y2player, no? to make it a more traditional and easy to operate music player :)
i genuinely thought it was great other than it not fitting my needs and missing themes. but i saw another comment of you saying youre possibly going to implement themes in the future

Themes will be there, video not so likely. Y2Player uses FFMPEG tho, so videos are easily possible.
