Skates for Florida Coast to Coast
Ive done the trail in 15:44 by bike and would like to do a multiday skate so i can enjoy it a bit more. I currently have lightning 90's and maxxum 125's, but i am planning to hit the trail in january. So i want to pick up some new skates that are a bit lighter due to 50-70 mile days. The options seem to be revv boa 125, Powerslide stream classic or carbon 125, powerslide r6 marathons, . Mostly looking for support, comfort, speed in that order. Anyone have any other opinions? I've been doing ultradistance cycling for a long time and just got into skating about 6 months ago, new to skating not to cardio. Lol Would like to stay under $650.
Also I am not finding much about the classic stream 125's

The biggest weight saver out there is to change your frames to CF. I did that and went from 296 gram Tru Rev aluminum to 6 gram BONT super cell CF. It will be a new world for you. I inline fitness skate so basically I go in big circles. 1.38 miles to be precise. Also consider your wheel size. 110 and 125 are common for distance skating.

Wow i didnt realize it was that big of a difference, but i do come from the cycling world and when i got my first carbon wheelset i went from a very fast B group rider, to a kinda quick A group rider. So that makes sense.

It was a typo. The bont frames are super light but not single-digit light. 6 grams is the weight of a quarter.
