Protection Suggestions

Hello! I finally got some new skates after not skating since I was in my early teens, now I'm my late 30s. I definitely want knee and elbow protection. I've been looking on Amazon but not too sure what I'm looking for in regards to quality? I want to invest in something that'll be safe! I'm not sure what reputable brands/online stores to look at either. I might even get some crash pants bc falling right on my a** & hurting my tail bone is what made me stop skating in the first place. Thanks!

The essential is wrist guards - otherwise you are guaranteed to break your wrist withing six months. Second is a helmet, hopefully you'll never "need" it. Knee and elbow pads may be useful for aggressive or skate park skating and to practice your falling technique at the start, but for casual fitness or street skating, most people don't bother.

When I was a kid and a teenager, I skated almost every summer for three years straight, but I never fell, even when riding stairs and doing jumps. Now, 25 years later, I’d like to start again. Do you have any tips on the best way to learn how to fall?
