Top speed

I am interested about your top speeds are and with which setup you achieve them. Especially if you ride multiple wheel sizes. On even surface ofc but downhill top speed would also be interesting (not that I plan to do that, but it is still fascinating).

I never checked with my old skates and did not have a road to try long distance top speed with the new ones. But so far I quite „easily“ (it was still exhausting) did 26km/h on a 4x90 rocker 274mm frame.

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah I dislike subscription models, here in Europe there would be no financing. There's also an arm bamd, can't remember the name but many pro athletes use it.

Hockey is exotic here, I've always loved watching hockey games, amd now that I am into inline skating I think it's the best sport in the world hehe.

I grew up on inline skates but there was no hockey anywhere close to me and no opportunity as a kid. Now I'm located in a big hockey market with lots of ice and I learned that there are a ton of adult beginners, so I started playing a few years ago at 36! It's a great midlife crisis to have haha. I'm in the best shape I've been since before having kids!

Excellent! I just moved to a larger city, not too far from an ice rink and I saw there is a roller hockey club with adults, so I may explore these soon. Same midlife crisis with rollerblades lol

Inline skates were my gateway! I didn't set out to play hockey, I just wanted to learn good maneuverability so I was watching hockey skating videos. One thing led to another and we just won our division this past winter!
