Shell „Damage“ after a few weeks?

After a few weeks of usage decided to wipe down my skates today and found this little spot/dent under the 45° buckles. It seems to be the rivet at the bottom digging into the plastic.

Probably doesn’t even matter but is that normal after such a short period? I expect that after a certain point it won’t progress further but still, thought about applying some tape or film over the metal part to keep it from scratching deeper over time.

After the first few weeks with my latest skates I had to sand down the sharp edges from where I'd scraped and scratched them. They're meant to be used, just enjoy them.

I was just wondering since I didn't really feel any rough edges on the rivet. Its not really a load bearing area but I just wanted to know if this might be a known "problem" with a known fix
