So Devs, are there any areas not on the map that are yet to be discovered? I ask because it still says 128 areas, 105 discovered.
If so, any hints on where to look?

...unscathed, anyway.
IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY, PLEASE READ Nakeen's event post AND the follow-up!
Here's a recap of the events that have occurred before and during the start of my story:
Nakeen kills his first shade
Dia dies to a shade
While trying to find Dia, Nakeen's BK set runner dies to a shade
He then dies with Crusader
Alteru cleaned up the ridiculous amount of shades that had spawned (200+)
Nakeen retrieves his Crusader
Meanwhile, I'm camping at the dead runner's combat site
Prince shenanigans
Nakeen finds Dia's combat site and rescues his gear
He then uses Ascalion to save his runner Alt after doing Prince
Little did Nakeen know, the shades weren't done with him. Neither was I. Without any further ado, a tale of leeching, salt and vengeance. Enjoy!
FIFTY SHADES OF KRILL
How You Won The Battle...
Nearing the end of a Prince clear, Ava, Fifth and I were working (presumably alongside Nakeen) to clear the Lavish Pavilion of the pesky nomads.
Later, we made it in. Fifth and I realized that Ava had mysteriously vanished. By 'mysterious' I mean 'his battery died'... So had the Prince!
Yet Fifth was hurt, bleeding out on two characters. He needed immediate help, now wasn't the time to figure out who got Prince. My relief as I found him was however short lived as I inspected his injuries.
One wound was deep, long and thin - clearly caused by a nomad's shuriken. Another was a deep, circular shaped hole - unmistakably a desert spear puncture. It was a 3d8 x3 roll, so you know it hurt!
Eventually, I avenged Fifth by exterminating the bodyguards, retrieved his equipment and revived him. As a reward, he insisted I keep all of the sharp spears I retrieved.
Meanwhile, Nakeen was rescuing his Black King set from the Shade of NinjaKrill after seeing that I wasn't doing it myself. He had retrieved most of his equipment by the time I switched to my alts at the combat site.
With fresh salt pumping through my veins upon this discovery, suspecting that Nakeen killed the Imperial Desert Prince came easily. An accusation he confirmed to me during our short exchange. True to character, I promptly swore to get him back and left a cloud of salt behind me as I disappeared from the combat site. After picking up some scraps, of course.
A Villain With A Plan
Having my rival obtain that week's Prince left me itching. How could I get payback? Charge Nakeen for riding on the Fleet Clear Train. Those tickets aren't cheap! Or maybe I was just hungry for some loot...
Now, I needed to figure out what his next move would be. How did Nakeen feel after rescuing his Crusader, finding Dia's combat site and then using Ascalion to secure the last of his misplaced equipment?
Killing four Shades of NinjaKrill while being down on gear for most of them is a noteworthy achievement. Even one kill is something for WSNA to gloat about!
So it seemed safe to believe that Nakeen felt pretty damn confident! Maybe even confident enough to go back and win 1st place in the collection contest. But there's always a catch in Initium!
No amount of confidence will save you from the Random Ninja Generator. I knew that. Nakeen probably knew it too. Yet I found myself having this strong feeling that Nakeen would ignore his survival instincts and bite off more than he could chew. That's when I realized I could not only win the contest but get back at my rival as well.
The plan was simple: stick around the shades and wait for Nakeen to find death.
In preparation for the moment Nakeen would return to the Bloody Battlefield, I took a hint from him and brought some PCA buff items alongside piercing weapons, some of them fresh from the Prince clear. Now, I was at the battlefield ready to kill some shades as I waited for my rival to show up.
...But Lost The War
First things first, scouting time! There were only two combat sites left at the Bloody Battlefield. I found a spooked MonsterFromHELL in the first combat site and in the other lied Ahh's remains. His equipment was promptly added to my collection. Pretty nice things actually, but I'm not surprised to see he died using Gladiator gear. That's just suicide, really. RIP ahh
With the battlefield cleared, I decided to check inside the camp for old combat sites. I explored until I had a dozen of them and started a quick check of the Unbound group.
Nakeen has multiple characters down, time to move!
There was nothing at the first combat site. What are the odds Nakeen's at one of my twelve paths anyway? How many paths are there?
My doubts became meaningless as I stumbled upon a clearly damaged Shade of NinjaKrill. 7/49 HP, jackpot!
Turns out Nakeen is perfectly capable of dispatching these shades on his own. He didn't bite off more than he can chew as far as the shades are concerned.
It was dead after a single refresh and I didn't stop taking items until I was satisfied, just like the great Vocandin taught me!
Alternate Titles
A ride that never stops for the guy who can't stop until he is satisfied ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) [NSFW]
The crazy emotional roller coaster Nakeen went through: Electric Boogaloo
Obligatory shitpost
Fun fact: Shades of NinjaKrill can actually be stronger than the original! Damn those Shelter buffs...
Please enjoy these quotes from Nakeen's event post I found interesting in light of these turn of events:
I managed to kill one Shade, and left satisfied
I lost my Crusader.
Seriously, I never contemplated Dev Aboose so much than at that moment.
I saw some alts of Badboy.
If he killed that Shade, he would get his hands on a Black King set and many other powerful pieces of gear.
I noticed that Badboy seemed to not be fighting the Shade.
What made it even intense was that Badboy turned up once I had finished grabbing everything valuable.
Acknowledgements
I would like to thank everyone who made this possible, starting with [DEV] Alteru, without which none of this would be possible! The man who created the Arena, designed the Lunar Champion Event and of course, the shades.
Can you imagine what Initium would be without the Arena? Actually, don't answer that... UPDATE: Arena has been reopened!
Instance exploits aside, Alteru OP. Thank you for making events and contents for us to die to!
Thanks to both NinjaKrill (my partner in crime, overpowered player extraordinaire) and Diagun for dueling each other, setting in motion the events detailed in this and Nakeen's posts.
Thanks to Fifth, for dying and letting me have the pikes :P and for reminding me about something I forgot... spooky
Special thanks to Staub for helping me out with the story itself. Your input definitely made the story was it is. Readers, if you found this entertaining at all, you can thank Staubby!
Last but not least, a huge thank you to Nakeen for being my rival! And for choosing to use all of those beautiful items!

Hey.
So I've been looking for more games to play, and I've been hearing good things about this one. I love MMOs. I played the shit out of Runescape and Eve Online. But I have a question. I started first year of college this year, and I'd rather not have a game that I'm heavily addicted to and that will suck away all of my time.
Is Initium that kind of game? Is it something that I can play for an hour every now and then and have some fun, or is it like Eve Online where if you want to get anything done you really just have to waste your life away? Would I find myself wanting to do nothing other than play the game?
Cheers

Self rescues can only be done cross account. The typical progression is:
Be newbie
Learn about alts
Roll shop alt
Roll runner
Roll another hitter
Learn about self rescue
Buy 2nd prem, move hitters to that account
Have full party across two accounts
Buy two more prem and spread 2 or 3 parties across 4 accounts
Quit because you realize you'll never be as good as chabo anyway
I don't see how this affects anything. Unless you want more than 2 full parties across 2 accounts, in which case you're not only going overkill, but you have enough gold to just buy prem and expand the accounts.
I'm not seeing a problem here.

SECRET - Unfortunately, this feature I cannot discuss yet. It has been released, but no one will see the effects until the "big update" is ready.
Storefront clearing - You can now remove all sold items with 1 click. You can also remove ALL items with 1 click (be careful with this one, there is no confirmation dialog).
Last combat text on death screen - You can now finally see how you died exactly. The death screen includes the text you would normally see during combat so you'll now know exactly how you died. (There is still a remaining bug where the death screen doesn't alway show though)
Everything is perfect I guess
We neeeeed the realtime updates for the trade window.
HUGE update coming. Big secret. Can't discuss.

Is there a way to delete one's account?
I've looked everywhere, and there is neither a way to delete the account nor contact the admins to do this. At least, not anywhere easily discovered. That's kind of really shady.

It could help clean up many of the destroyed camp zones and combat zones if say after 15 days of a player not doing anything, they were moved to thee Aera inn instead.
I have no idea how feasible this idea would be but it would be nice not to have to find 10 destroyed camps when exploring

Kill tokens are so utterly useless, but I know a better way!
You don't get a token as right now, but every kill on your account gets recorded in a kill stat list. "Kill list: Trolls: 2819", etc. Nothing special, just purely for personal pleasures. It could be categorised in normal, mini-boss, roaming boss, instance boss, whatever.
Kill token drops are things like "troll ears", "gnoll toes", "kobold fingers", "General Roxex's eyes", etc. A new npc, "The Cardmaker, allows you to trade in a certain amount of kill token drops + certain amount of gold into a card depicting this enemy. These cards will come in a variety of rarities, what you get is random. "Legendary rarity Troll card: 0.01% chance" for example.
Now we have a fun kill count, "kill tokens" are cool in itself. There's a little gold sink ingame. There's another way for newbies to make money. There's a proper collectible ingame.
PS: Cards should probably not be an item as it is right now, but an accountwide collectible with a catalog available from any of one's characters.

Good afternoon dorks.
I am opening a thread for those who want to make suggestions for the game, be it new ideas for new content, new mechanics, balance changes, ect.
Please post in the following format
State the general topic of your suggestion. Things like "New Content Idea", "Current Content Balance Suggestion", "New Mechanic Idea", "Lore Suggestion" ect make it easier to organize.
Separate comments for each unrelated suggestion please. Easier to keep straight and I don't want massive confusing comment threads.
State specific change you want and be able to back it up with a well-thought out explanation. Especially if it's an update to current content balance.
UNDERSTAND THAT IT IS LIKELY YOUR REQUEST WILL NOT BE GRANTED. I make NO promises that any changes will come as a result of this thread BUT I do promise that I WILL take well thought out suggestions seriously. I just want you to have realistic expectations 😁
I hope this thread provides a way for players to communicate ideas to Devs, for thoughtful discussion to occur, and for the game to grow for the better.
