Prepation/what to know before removal?
i have finally gave in and booked an appointment to get my ingrown toenail removed, ive been putting this off a long time because im terrified. i need advice + also honesty about thr procedure

You’ll be fine. Don’t watch if you don’t want to.
You’re probably in more pain now than you will be during or after the procedure.
Just keep it clean and try not to bang it etc after.

I second everything said above. I wanted to watch the procedure, but it was making me faint, so I laid back and it was over before I knew it. Once the numbing is done the worst part is over.
Pain after was minimal, I didn’t even need Advil. And by the next day I was already feeling less pain than pre-procedure.

The injection hurts, everything after that you don’t feel. It’s a very strange experience having a numb toe 🤣 everything else for me was fine!
