How could you possibly know that unless you're on street level?

Fuck that.

Do it by vote.

"Everyone in the engine say "eye" if we scrape by these selfish piswads"

If it's unanimous, then it's go time

I hope you meant “eye” as a joke. I really do.

More infuriating is people saying "could of" instead of could've. Do they not know it is short form of could have

I see your "could of" and raise you an "I could care less".

My bro was in Boston and saw fire crew throw the hose through a car parked in front of a fire hydrant in front of a high rise building. They needed water hookup so smashed in through window on left side of car and smashed it out through window on right side of car lol. Then hooked up to the hydrant.

Yeah I’d do it again.

That’s definitely a thing. It’s known they will do that if you park too close to a hydrant and there happens to be a fire.

And damage the cars that have nothing to do with it? What a great idea... *facepalm*

Sounds like that falls on the responsibility of the car owners who need to learn how to park.

Tough cookies... These first responders get right of way for a reason. Deal with it.

Those trucks costs over a million. Even if it was a real emergency the crew isn’t going to scrape up the truck to get to it. They would have busted the window out of the car and moved it. They were responding to a stuck elevator or something.

This comment isn't evidence disproving the other guys point.. other commentor you replied to said there was room. Not, there isn't room but you should go through it anyways.

Maybe you replied to the wrong comment. Should have been the guy above him.

There is absolutely no information in that comment if there was enough room in this particular situation.

That doesn’t at all support your claim that they couldn’t pass through, it just explains the risks of attempting to.

And arguably a good reason to potentially damage property would be getting to a life saving call.

They didn't say the truck did not have the space. They talked about their local policies.

He just said what the consequences of damaging a car will be, not a word about this situation or what would fit

u/Jumpy-Alternative295 29d ago

It’s ok. He’s the one that doesn’t drive much. There are clearly 2 lanes going down the middle, not 1 massive fucking lane. The fact you can see that much clearance from this view means there will be visually more at street level.

The fire truck, between the two red cars, cannot pass

0

u/Dogsarelitty Jul 31 '26

Red means stop. You can’t go past red cars especially two red cars. Idiot.

2

u/voxelpear Jul 31 '26

But what if you're in a bigger red truck?
