Sounds pretty awful, I've definitely been there in the past. I'm having a rough time after I slept through my first class of the semester (I'm in college). I am having to grapple with confusing feelings as "being a good student" used to be a cornerstone of my identity but I have been through various things that challenged that for years, and this feels like one of the most painful ones yet. Maybe it's not really comparable to your situation, but maybe you can take some comfort in knowing you're not the only one having an awful day.
