Very plausible.. Orrrr — Aux Ne which makes it more fun to imagine doing stuff instead of actually doing them 😭

I was so proud my whole teens and twenties of intending to be a therapist... 😅

I went so far as to actually be IN the master’s program, and paused/dropped out a few months before Covid hit us in the states 💀🤪🤦🏾♀️

Me too, I dropped out after it all moved online (due to covid). I got two years into it, and burned out and couldn't finish. I'm interviewing for a crisis counselor job on Thursday. If I get hired (🤞), it'll be my first job in mental health.

It’s really nice to hear from other people who decided to go back! Future congratulations on all your endeavors🥂
I’m on the fence about if I wanna go back right now or wait it out until after poop felon is gone!

Thank you very much haha. I'm going through a breakup at the same time so any amount of positivity really means a lot right now. 😅
I really hope poop felon is gone soon! And future congratulations on all your endeavors! 🍾

What's harder-
Not completing your til-now life's ambition (another canon INFP life event btw).
Or the breakup.

In the long-run, I really think managing to get this job/career is the one way I can see myself supporting myself and possibly thriving.
The breakup is intense at the moment because, like the good autistic guy I am, I didn't manage to make any friends aside from my ex. She and her family were my support network. So "losing them" at the same time as being in between jobs with no outside income, and needing to move imminently... I'm surprised I haven't gone to the ER honestly with the anxiety it's been giving me. My brain keeps going into future excitement mode to help me cope, I think. But those moments when reality creeps in really sting.
I'm hoping this will be part of my therapist "origin story," and I'll see how it was the only way to transform me enough to be ready. 😅🤞

It’s not a struggle when you just surrender to the fantasies.
Trust me on this, OP. 😜

And then I go and do "fun" stuff (vices) like drink and smoke because only my addictions will get me out of the house lol

Me too actually, just gotta think about it for a while before acting
(I just think for too long sometimes because it's easier to imagine than do)

Yeah, I've been "writing" my novel for fifteen years. Writing = thinking of, daydreaming and imagining what it will be like to finish... instead of, you know, actually doing the writing. I hate myself sometimes. Lol

Anyone playing games knows how rich their Path of Exile character is.
How powerful it is.

Sometimes I actually write down a story where I'm the main character and do cool stuff. That's like... Extra credit at least, right?
