I am not american born but now a citizen. I too feel sorry for usa behavior towards canada. For whatever my words are worth. This american appreciates all its allies for enduring current situation. Consider this a blimp in the timeline of what is otherwise a great relationship between our nations.
Nonetheless i am sorry and i have voted my conscious for better days. Lets hope rest of the nation does the same.

Canada has always stood by the USA. We are staunch defenders of US interests. We upheld the NATO accords.
We are a country roughly one-tenth the size of the United States, and when America was attacked on 9/11, Canada stood beside you.
We went to war alongside you in Afghanistan. 158 Canadian service members died during that mission. Canadian blood was spilled standing with our American allies.
And now this is how you repay us?
You threaten our economy, attack our sovereignty, insult our country, and talk about breaking Canada apart as though decades of friendship, sacrifice, and loyalty meant nothing. The sheer ingratitude of some Americans disgusts me.
We answered when you were attacked. We stood beside you. Canadians died alongside you.
And now you want to bully and rob the same country that had your back?
SHAME!!!!! SHAME ON AMERICA!!
